ECLC-2013 Proceedings

Following the tradition of the ECLC the proceedings of the conference will be published by Taylor & Francis, Inc. as a special volume of Molecular Crystals & Liquid Crystals. All contributions will be subjected to editorial and peer review prior to acceptance, in order to ensure high scientific and academic standards, as well as other style requirements of the journal such as reference system, abstracts, keywords, figure and table captions, as specified in the journal’s current Instructions for Authors.

The Publisher agrees to provide perpetual online access of the complete proceedings to each registered participant at the meeting. Since the principal authors, as meeting participants, will receive the perpetual online access to the proceedings, which will provide the opportunity to download a PDF of their articles, additional complimentary reprints will not be made available. If hard copy reprints are desired, they may be purchased at the usual journal rates.

Please prepare your manuscript according to Molecular Crystals & Liquid Crystals Instructions for Authors and send your contribution(s) by email to one of the guest editors of the proceedings:

-        Ioannis LELIDIS, (e-mail: ilelidis@phys.uoa.gr)

-        Dimitris TSIOURVAS (e-mail: Tsiourvas@chem.demokritos.gr)

-        Alexandros G. VANAKARAS (e-mail: a.g.vanakaras@upatras.gr)

Manuscripts should be submitted by December 16th, 2013 and should include:

  • A cover letter in PDF format.
  • The manuscript as a unified file including:
    • the title page;
    • 3–6 keywords;
    • abstract not more than 100 words;
    • shortened version of the title suitable for the running head, not more than 50 character spaces;
    • all sections of the body of the paper;
    • references;
    • tables and figures embedded in the text;
    • full contact information for all authors.
  •  A statement that it has not been published elsewhere and that it has not been submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources and are required to sign an agreement for the transfer of copyright to the publisher.

A rapid peer review procedure will be implemented and the publishers have agreed to a 3 month period between receipt of the accepted manuscripts and publication. It is thus estimated that the special volume will be published in the summer of 2014.

We are looking forward to your contributions,
